Our client, Ms G found herself stuck in a dispute over an estate left in the will of her late father. The issue was resolved without the need for court proceedings; the property was sold and divided amicably.
Our client was threatened with possession proceedings. Notice was served and issued with regard to her deposit, leading to everything being all resolved with one letter.
Our client had a potential claim against him for over £16,000, having allegedly provided negligent financial advice. We did not consider that the claim had any legitimacy; wrote one letter to the other side and they gave up – all for a one off fixed fee.
