On Saturday 22nd March Laurie took part in the Sports Relief 2014 Swimathon in aid of raising money and awareness for Queens Crescent Community Association – a community based organisation which caters for all residents in Gospel Oak, Haverstock, Maitland Park and Hampstead and which aims to to improve the quality of life for these individuals.
The Swimathon took place at the Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex, Walton-On-Thames and required swimming a length of one mile – which Laurie managed to complete in 39 minutes.
